Helping CASA NOLA and Displaced Children

We received the following email request from CASA New Orleans on November 10. On behalf of the contributors to the Renew New Orleans Foundation, we were privileged to honor their request:
 
Subject: Displaced Children
 
Hi, I am the Executive Director of the Court Appointed Special Advocates program in New Orleans (CASA New Orleans). We coordinate volunteer advocacy services for abused and neglected children in Orleans Parish Juvenile Court. Before Hurricane Katrina, our children were in foster care placements throughout New Orleans and the surrounding area. After Katrina, the children have been displaced around the country and the judges who preside over their cases want to reach out to them. Soon, we will be sending a letter to each displaced foster child from Orleans Parish and would like to include a Renew New Orleans bracelet to lift their spirits. We would like to request a donation of 500 bracelets for these New Orleans children. Please contact me at your earliest convenience and thank you for your consideration.
